It has an exceptionally roomy cabin with a good field of view that will increase the visual and emotional experience for our passengers. Aviation Tourism Australia (AVTA) has taken out two prestigious awards on Saturday night at the annual Whitsunday Tourism Awards held at the Hamilton Island Convention Centre. Winning the award for the category of Major Transport and Tourism Operator, Alan Sweeney, CEO of AVTA acknowledged, “against a backdrop of challenging times in the tourism industry both domestically and internationally, the company has grown in leaps and bounds over this last year. This award is recognition of the wonderful team we have, and their untiring dedication to delivering premium tourism services to visitors to the Whitsundays region.” AVTA has certainly grown at an enviable pace these last 18months, commanding a fleet now of over 30 helicopters, seaplanes and airplanes servicing the entire Whitsunday region’s mainland & island resorts. AVTA’s Group of Companies in the Whitsundays include HELIREEF, ISLANDAIR, HAMILTON ISLAND AVIATION & AIR PARADISE, providing flights ranging from local scenic flights & transfers to full-day and extended touring products to Whitehaven Beach and the Great Barrier Reef. 10-seater Cessna Caravan airplane. The state-of-the-art, technologically
advanced turbo-prop aircraft will be seen flying locally around
the Whitsundays servicing:
